If we knew from day one this would have been the best day, many of the writers on the trip would have catapulted to day three. In one day, the group visited Rose Hall Great House, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville in Negril, Sandals, Negril, traveled on Sandals’ Catamaran to Rick’s Cafe – Negril and then had dinner at Breezes in Negril. That was a lot of entertainment; which translated into a tired bodies longing for the finest beds at Secrets Resorts in Montego Bay.
Rose Hall Great House

Rose Hall Great House
On an overcast day, we visited Rose Hall Great House to learn about the famous witch, Annie Palmer. At the age of 17, Annie Palmer traveled to Jamaica and married John Palmer, a wealthy man. The Annie Palmer story is entertaining and at some points scary. The tour of the house is very enlightening, rich with information and history. How could a woman be this wicked? The video below is a small tour of Rose Hall Great House. You will observe that when I am upstairs I begin to rush. I found out I was alone and got very scared. Come on, I am in Annie Palmer’s house and she has been photographed (ghost) in the house since. Believe it or not!

Margaritaville, Negril
Our second stop was Margaritaville in Negril. I haven’t been to Negril in a long time, the water was so warm two of the participants immediately dived into the water. For the ‘reserved’ folks who weren’t in the mood to go for a swim, we stood on the shore and enjoyed the sun, the sand and sea. This is what Jamaica is all about, clear beaches, blaring sun that makes for a picturesque scene.

Blue Castle, Negril
The Blue Cave Castle is located on Lighthouse Road in Negril. The castle is built 50ft above an old pirates cave, overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

After sliding in the water at Rick's Cafe
I don’t like to live life with regrets and I have always wanted to certain things but my fears never allowed me to. On this day I would not let my fears take over. I grabbed the life jacket and took a plunge. The water was so warm, I took over 7 slides – that much. Rick’s Cafe is a must see if you visit Negril, Jamaica.

Day 3 was by far the best indeed! I just wrote about it too, totally enjoyed myself! Great photos dude!

Yes, sunsets are great, and the best thing: it’s free for anyone ;D
Nice pictures! Bloggers meetings must be awesome, never been to one. I’d love to go to Jamaica one day. Do you live there?

Awesome pictures!!! I remember going to Rick’s Cafe a few years back…good times! Isn’t that where they dive from very high on that cliff? And I’m so jealous you got a picture with Cookie Monster, he is my favorite muppet of all time lol

@Crystal
You have been here, I didn’t know that. Yes you are correct, it is where the divers dive from trees above the water.
I wish you could have taken that photo, I am not really a muppet fan.

The pictures are great. Confused as to whether you went to Beaches or Breezes. Caption says Breezes but the decorated dessert says Beaches.
